A Baker’s Dozen

QIC:  Buckeye

PAX:  Diapers, Joker, Puddy, FNG Collusion, Dabo, Peaches, Compost, Ballcock, Urkel, Yo-Yo Ma, Simpson, Buckeye – QIC

Conditions:  35 degrees and clear with a thin layer of frost.  Air is clean, crisp, and cool – GOOD for breathing.

12 PAX w/ 1 FNG removed themselves from the comfort of their fartsacks and entered a chilly gloom by lowcountry standards for a full 60 minute suckfest.  10 PAX followed it up with Q-Source.

Warm-up:

-SSH x 30 IC

-ATMs x 10 IC, x 10 IC, x 10 OYO

-Slooow Seal Jacks x 20 IC

-Hill Billies x 20 IC

-Smurf Jacks x 10 IC

-Windmill x 10 IC

-TTT x 20 IC

-Warm up mosey lap

The THANG:

-A Baker’s Dozen:  “a routine impressed upon YHC by JV years ago”.

-PAX line up on the paved path for:

-Original Burpee (no pushup) x 13 OYO

-V-Up x 13 OYO

-Tempo Merkin x 13 IC

-Jump Squat x 13 OYO

-PAX mosey to the other side of the shovel flag and continue,

-Original Burpee x 12, V-Up x 12, Tempo Merkin x 12 IC, Jump Squat x 12

-PAX mosey back to the paved path and continue back and forth all the way down until 1 rep of each exercise is completed.

-PAX get a quick lesson / refresher on the 5 core principles of F3 after exercises x 5 reps.

-SSH x 50 IC to stay warm

-PAX take two loops around the short path and stop at the basketball court for:

The Filler:

At the basketball court, Buckeye goes completely off the Weinke script, which does not happen often.

-PAX spend 20 minutes performing down and backs and suicides of various exercises – Broad Jump Burpee, Bear Crawl, or Bear Run if your Yo-Yo Ma, Crab Walk, or Crab Sprint if your Ball Cock, and Imperial Walkers with mountain climbers, tempo merkins, monkey humpers, smurf jacks, and Duke Sucks Bobby Hurley’s mixed in.

-At 59 minutes, PAX are strewn about the court with some crawling on all fours striving for the next line.  YHC circles the group up at mid-court for:

Flutterkick x 23 and DONE!

COT/BOM:

-Announcements and Shout Out.

-Pork Butt Roasting this coming Friday. Sign up, see Cubby, or at least the ghost of Cubby, again, and enjoy a great 2nd F event.

Moleskin:

-While it was brisk this morning, reason number 1 Buckeye has planted his roots in the south: F3Grand Rapids, MI, Buckeye’s home town, Saturday morning workout temp rang in at a balmy 2 degrees.  #nothanks
